This ministry began with one family whose fourth child, Ben, was born with Down syndrome. Ben’s mom wanted to reach out to others in the same situation. A disability committee was formed, and they prayed for God to open doors for the Gospel to be shared in practical ways. God answered by making a way for a Bible study to be held in a semi-independent living facility for adults with intellectual disabilities, which later led to providing accessible bus transportation to our services.
